Specialised Soft Tissue Techniques for Breast Health & Scar Tissue – One-Day Workshop
Are you looking to expand your skill set to support clients with breast health concerns and scar tissue from surgeries like mastectomies, reconstructions, augmentations, or lumpectomies? This one-day workshop is ideal for massage therapists who want to work confidently and respectfully with clients seeking relief from tension, restricted movement, and discomfort in the breast and chest area. Through focused training on assessments and gentle, effective soft tissue methods, you’ll gain the skills to help clients feel at ease and supported.
What You’ll Learn:
This workshop begins with a sensitive approach to understanding the anatomy and common post-surgical issues in the breast and chest area, including scar tissue formation, adhesions, and movement limitations. You’ll learn how to assess and work with soft tissue techniques specifically tailored to reduce tension, support tissue mobility, and support emotional regulation surrounding scars. By the end of the day, you’ll feel confident using these techniques to provide meaningful support for clients navigating breast health and recovery.
