Supporting the prioritisation and connection to body and health.
I'm Kirsten, I have worked within the healthcare, fitness and therapy sectors for over 20 years. I am a registered paramedic, having previously worked as a personal trainer and also as therapy assistant specialising in neurological rehabilitation. My journey into bodywork therapies started in 2022 where I soon found a passion for fascial and connective tissue work having experienced the benefits it had both personally and for clients. I went on to complete a variety of theoretical and practical training including the Certificate in Integrated Myofascial Therapy. I am also a sports, holistic and deep tissue massage therapist and an accredited kinetic chain release (KCR) practitioner.
Special interests:
- MFR for TMJ issues
I have a particular interest the body’s response to trauma and the potential issues that may evolve from various physical, mental, emotional or environmental stressors and equally how given the right tools, the body has an innate ability to heal. I also have a keen interest working with clients who have neck and shoulder issues, TMJ disorders, chronic headaches or migraines. Combining clinical knowledge and experience with a holistic approach, my goal is to provide a safe, adaptable space with a therapy and treatment style that best suits the individual.
